E-M1ii 1270 at eGlobal Central

Grey import - but a very attractive price.

Re: E-M1ii 1270 at eGlobal Central

Thanks Paul. I must admit I am tempted but I am sure a few members expressed concerns about eGlobal Central not so long ago. I was hoping that Olympus would be offering the E-M1ii on a special offer by now. I keep an eye on the HDEW website and will probably purchase from them if Olympus do not have any offers soon. I have dealt with them before and found them reliable and trustworthy.

eGlobalCentral are genuine but if you have any warranty issues they are poor in my experience.

Wex have a 200 "trade up" bonus at the moment but it still doesn't put much of a dint in the list price of the MkII!

Thanks AMc. I want to keep my EM1 as a second camera hence my interest in special offers.

Wow what a discount. Going for a grey import would have been quite a dilemma at that price had I not given in at the NEC. 400 cheaper than the NEC deal is a big reduction. They have the 12-40 at 449 too another bargain.

The 200 trade in is on top of any value given for the equipment.

I chucked in one of my E-M1 mk1 against a second mkII, and got 400 for the body and grip, plus the 200 bonus. 600 off the mkII was definitely worth it.

That was at Cambrian Photography, Colwyn Bay.

Re: E-M1ii 1270 at eGlobal Central

This really does appear to be a good price. My mk1 has around 20000 shots on it so I guess it's worth 320 ish maybe so under 1k to change could be worth it

Re: E-M1ii 1270 at eGlobal Central

I have an em5 mk2 with around 5000 shots wonder whats that worth?

Am thinking of doing the trade in with Jessops just not sure they'd offer that much for it.

The more I use the mark II the more impressed I am with it. It's a massive powerhouse of a camera and despite its superficial similarity to the mark i, it really is in quite another league. I think if you're serious about photography and are committed to u43 then it's really a"must have ".

Re: E-M1ii 1270 at eGlobal Central

I am still looking for a bargain with the E-M1ii, Currently eGlobal have the body at 1269.90. HDEW are listing the body at 1465.00 down from 1549. They also have the body and 12-40 pro lens at 2059.00. I am baffled by the latter offer because below that price in red it states the price is down from 1955.00? Both offers are open until Tuesday. I am tempted by the offer on the body at HDEW.
