Pristine boxed E-M1

Looking to sell my pristine E-M1 which has just over 1,000 clicks from new, and is in superb unmarked condition apart from a minor scuff on the plastic hot shoe cover (which at least I've not lost!).

The only items from the original package that I've used are the camera, battery and charger - everything else (flash, cables, strap) is still wrapped and untouched since leaving the factory.

Included will be two good quality additional batteries plus the Olympus original and the original sales receipt from Park Cameras as there is still some remaining guarantee.

It's by far the best m43 camera I've used and I'd love to keep it, but can't really justify running two systems. And if you buy it now and then install the new firmware coming in a few days it'll be just like getting a new camera twice!

Priced sensibly for a quick sale at 485 delivered (it's quite a heavy package so postage will be a fair whack). Please PM with any questions.

Cheers,

Jon

Difficult to put an exact value on it but I always check EBay sold items and then reduce the price a bit when advertising here, to reflect the lack of fees. So you're right - it's a competitive price so it ought to be gone!

Re: Pristine boxed E-M1

I've told a couple of friends about this, on the off chance they want to treat themselves for Christmas.

Thanks Graham, much appreciated!

As a persuader, here is one of my last images from the E-M1, taken in Glencoe a couple of weeks ago (and the 11-22 lens is for sale too - see other thread!):

Sold subject to payment. Thanks for looking but check out my other threads too - there are some great lenses in there which are still looking for new homes, including the one used for the image above!

Cheers,

Jon

Jon..why in the world are you selling such a wonderful tool that appears to capture just the kind of photo that most/all of us would enjoy....so....tell me....why are you getting rid of it and what will replace it.

Re: Pristine boxed E-M1

Hi Bill - good to hear from you and hope all is well in Canada?

The reason is that unlike the image above, I increasingly take photographs of people and street scenes and have some nice fast Nikon prime lenses that have found a perfect home on a newly-acquired Nikon df (which, because it looks like an old film camera - an attribute shared with the OMD - means most people ignore me because it's not what they expect a professional SLR to look like!). The results from that sensor (16MP full frame shared with the D4) are astonishing, better than anything I've seen from digital.

But I'm still keeping my E-1 and 14-54 (which also took some decent shots in Glencoe) because I just can't sell that camera! If there are no takers in the other thread, I'll probably keep the 40-150 mk i too - good two lens kit.

Best wishes,

Jon

In time to now enjoy putting firmware 4.0 on it.

And I recommend it, if nothing else, for the sequential anti-shock ability amongst all the other niceties they've given us.

Re: Pristine boxed E-M1

Glad you have a sale Jon, good luck to Melaka with it. I wonder when the E-M5 Mk II will be offered at this price by someone?
