"Aqua Adrenaline" at West Bay Dorset

Aqua Adrenaline was the name of a two day race meet combining ZapCats + Off-shore Circuit racing power boats.

I came back from the week-end with close on four thousand images shooting with my EM-1 + 50-200mk1 for most of the time (stupidly forgetting my Polarising filter having changed bags at the last minute! )

The star of the event for me was a boat called V-16, looking a bit like a "Bat Boat" and sounding like thunder it hurtled around the course lapping everything in sight.

Sadly it "broke" on the second day and sounded more like an aging tractor, retiring during the later stages

Here are a few pics showing this beast in full flight

Thanks both, the images are already up on their website for the crew to see

Watching it submarine through the waves as it turned then leap out of the water in a great mass of spray as the wings provided lift was an amazing sight, made even better by the incredible noise it made as it left the water

Thanks Conor, these shots are purely for my pleasure and I make them available to the crews FOC

(I make enough money from my more commercial images to cover the costs of my photography / printing and give me spare money each year to buy new kit, it would spoil my pleasure in my water-sport shooting to sully it with thoughts of "profit" )
