E450 - good price at Argos (mid April 2011)

289.99 with 14-42 lens.

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/5593086.htm

A decent buy for somebody wanting an entry level DSLR.

Probably not too many to be had at that price ?

I got my E450 for that price from Argos just before Christmas. I have since added the 40-150mm from ebay for 70. I am very much enjoying the camera.

Re: E450 - good price at Argos (mid April 2011)

I got mine on ebay as 'factory refurbished' and it came in really good condition.
I got it with the 14-42mm lens and my wife kindly bought me the 40-150mm.

I'm struggling to take pictures that do not look like 'snaps'. But that's down to the photographer and not the camera.

Ouch!

Simply use your 40-150 in 'A' mode at its widest aperture (F4 etc) and 'snaps' are a thing of the past.
