Woodland Vole

Saw the earlier Bank Vole of Bazza 2764 and wanted to show him mine but thought against putting it on his thread so started another one.
This was on the edge of a wood around a feeding station.
510, sigma 135-400.On A.P. @ f8 , 1/160, iso 400 and 400mm and - 0.7 Ex Comp.

Nice one mate, the detail in its face is class, i used my sigma 55-200 but at full 200 the images seem soft to me........ cracking shot tho mate

Barra...I was lucky as the settings were for the birds higher up and I didn't have time to change anything...good job really !!

Worked out nice, thats what i went for but nothing around at all, even tried to ply them with free seed to no avail haha

Yes I am blaming the hot weather ....been out today and yesterday and seen nowt really.......they are very fickle and have abandoned us now there's a lot of real food about.
