Thanks Mark, it was nice to have spent the past few days by the sea.
I am back home again, almost 250 miles inland in the middle of a 40C heatwave, 20C hotter than Hastings.
Edit: I've just added an extra image, shows a bit more of the yacht and another old seadog.

Bit chilly then compared to where my partner's youngest daughter lives. She lives in Exmouth (North of Perth) and it's been in the high 40s recently (I'm not sure, but I think that I heard over 50 mentioned!).

Yes Jim, Exmouth WA copped it hotter than most places in Oz. The outback town of Marble Bar WA probably has the highest recorded temperatures, although Cloncurry QLD and Oodnadatta SA might argue that.
