The Tarn

At Allen Banks, Northumberland. Not sure about this, I think I like it. The reeds could've been sharper.

Looks ok on my monitor, but I was trying to keep the water dark, there's not much contrast in there and it starts to look a bit HDRish if I lighten it up.

I like the impressionist feel you have above the reeds and the contrast with the reeads is good too. Maybe a bit of a crop to lose some of the foreground would help? Might end up a bit ultra widescreen though.

Viewed again on my desktop and is much better my tablet screen has been reset. Like the shot and much more detail can be seen now.

Willom, I think you're right, I originally envisaged the reeds in the center of the shot but on reflection () I think it could lose a bit of foreground.
