Eat my Dust


There's a silly game that's played on such Outback roads as the title suggests.
The technique is that when you see a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction that is not slowing down
or actually accelerating, you have two choices - pull over and wait for the bogan to pass, or do likewise ... there's quite a lot of bogan in me!


This was mild compared to the dust cloud I drove through stirred up by a 30 metre long road train. Note the bone shaking corrugations caused by the elements.

Yes John, indeed - as soon as I saw him oncoming at full bore, I thought of Mason as Nemo and gave the order, "30,000 revolutions - collision speed!", and the Pulsar lurched forward at 85 knots!
