Olympus ZD 150 F2 to sell if any member is interested!

Hi Guys,

This is preliminary post to see if any forum member would be interested in a very nice, clean, well cared for Olympus ZD 150 F2 SHG lens.

Its condition is Very nice as I am very protective of my kit, it is boxed inc hood, Kenco Zeta UV protector, both caps, Oly pouch, paper work from new and I will include an Arca swiss lens plate if you want it, I am looking for £1550.

I will post images in a couple of days when I get the chance, I live in Lancashire but would travel to meet up an hour or so from my location so you can view it and have a go if that would suit.

Just PM me and I will get back to you.

H'mmm, and I was under the illusion that you was keeping it Thomas. Having just used my spare cash in a lump-sum over-payment on my mortgage I no longer have the funds readily available

Never mind, winding down the mortgage makes more sense I guess, good luck with the sale,

Regards, Simon

Hi All,

Please find images of the lens, it is in near mint condition and if I am right to think that Olympus lenses have 2 year warranty then this lens comes with 10 months left, it was registered on the Olympus website.

Simon sorry about that, I think you were right to knock a little of your mortgage as that is more important.

No worries Thomas, though those pictures of it are reminding me of the one I once had and the quality of the images I captured with it. I Better not look at those images again until you have successfully sold it

Yes paying off the mortgage does make more sense, as it happens I've just let go of all my Leica's and paid a 'shedload' off the mortgage. Along with just tripling my repayments I will be mortgage free in 30 months, that's seven years early and a great deal of interest saved

Good luck with the sale, it looks in super 'nick,

Kind regards, Simon

Well 'resistance was futile' in the end ……… lens is in absolutely stunning condition and I had forgotten how 'compact' it is too. Shorter than a 50-200SWD though quite bigger in girth and weight.

Thank you Thomas.

Hopefully my 'digital' GAS is at or coming to an end now

Cheers, Simon

I'm not so sure Simon, the amount of gear you've bought on here recently, you're gonna need a bigger house!

Thankfully I have plenty of space but I can see where you are coming from

I wasn't going to buy the 150 at first, but by selling the 14/35 & 35/100 I raised the funds for it without eating into my mortgage overpayments. I 'think' I'm quite 'settled' now … the 150mm actually balances well with the em1 and a relatively small bag now holds the em1 + 12mm F2, 25mm F1.8, 45mm F1.8, 75mm F1.8, 150mm F2, EC14, EC20, EX25 ……. 12mm F2 through to 300mm F4 all in a compact rucksack…..'happy camper' at last? …I think ( hope ) so.

However I still 'enjoy' taking out the OM4ti more than the digital kit

Regards, Simon
