Small bag for E-30

Hello,

Can anyone advise if an E-30 with lens mounted fits comfily in this bag, currently on offer at Park (http://www.parkcameras.com/14237/Oly...ystem-Bag.html)?

I just want to be able to carry my E-30 safely around town while I shoot - no fording streams or anything like that (yet)!

I saw a couple of user reviews on Argos which say it's a tight squeeze, even for the 4- & 500 series, though other buyers seemed happy:

If it isn't right for an E-30, is there another smallish bag that can be recommended?

Thanks in advance,

Nick

Re: Small bag for E-30

Hi Nick

I believe this bag is too small for an E30 with a 12-60 lens or anything about this size. I have this bag and it is more than suitable for an EPL-1 and the 14-42 lens in the main compartment and the 4/3rds 40-150mm and MMF-1 in the side compartment. A far smaller camera arrangement. The front compartment will hold a spare battery (BLS-1), spare SD cards, and the body and lens caps. Nothing bigger.

I think you will need the next size up which is a wider case with two side pockets. Again with the 'E' system logo on. This will hold the E30 + 12-60 in top loader style and the side pockets hold other lens. It is still a rectangular type of bag (not triangular as per a top-loader). Park had some of these a week ago. A week further on, and I am not sure.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, John!

They don't seem to have names or model numbers but I'll see if I can pinpoint the one you mention.

Best wishes,

Nick

Re: Small bag for E-30

Hi Nick,

Went into Park this morning. They have one shoulder bag left in the Bargain Basket area of cases. Ahead of you as you enter the store. The price quoted is 14.99, I assume plus postage. A bargain indeed.
