Through the bedroom window

Thought it was about time I posted something this year. Didn't go far for this scene though, just out of the back bedroom window!

Re: Through the bedroom window

That's a pretty good view to have from your window. I like the one with the birds best.

Re: Through the bedroom window

Thanks John I like that one best too. The view's ok as I said to Beagle the creative art in this shot is avoiding the not so nice elements.

That holds true for most landscape photography.

Re: Through the bedroom window

Phil those are lovely and well seen. And the upward movements of the birds make the first quite an uplifting image. Good to see your pictures.

Re: Through the bedroom window

I like your opening scene, Phill, the birds at daybreak bring it alive.
Now if I had a such an outlook from my bedroom window I'd never need to go anywhere.
I'd set up my camera on a pod, and using a big mounted mirror I'd operate the camera from bed by Wi-Fi.
But then in that situation would it still be a mirrorless camera?

Re: Through the bedroom window

Thanks guys your comments are much appreciated. Yes I agree the birds make the shot. That was luck really that I was just about using a fast enough shutter speed to freeze them. Yes Mark Pigeons I'd guess from the number we get raiding our bird table. They are a bit of a nuisance really as they frighten off the smaller birds.
I'm definitely feeling a bit of a fraud about the view though now as that really is the best bit of it. Still you've got to make the best of what you've got I guess.
