FS: E-3, 50-200, Sigma 105 Macro & more

Sadly my present situation and the wretched inland revenue mean that I have to sell my E-3 and grip plus a couple of lenses and a couple of cameras from my collection . I am keeping the faith, however, by hanging on to my E-510 and my 12-60. Stuff for sale is detailed below and will be bunged on Ebay next week. I thought I would let you guys and gals have a look first. If you are interested, PM me with any questions and for pics. I take Paypal or a cheque. My Ebay feedback is 100% on 268 transactions and can be checked under beardedwombat. All prices include UK postage.

Olympus E-3 body, absolutely as new, unmarked, boxed with all original bits and bobs, purchased on 29th November last year from Kamera Photographic Ltd, Merseyside. HLD-4 grip is again as new and unmarked, boxed with instructions etc. 850 for both.

Olympus 50-200mm (non-SWD), mint except for small barely visible rub mark under tripod mounting, no box or instructions but comes with mounting, hood, both caps and original case and strap. 450

Sigma 105mm f2.8 EX DG Macro, mint, complete with hood, both caps, case, box and paperwork. 160

Olympus XA, the classic mini rangefinder, in excellent condition with only very minor signs of use, comes with a fitted battery and the quite rare A16 flashgun rather than the more usual A11. No box or instructions etc, but I will supply a couple of soft pouches. Best offer over 40 secures.

Minox LX subminiature in black. The original spy camera in near mint condition with few signs of use. Comes with its flashcube attachment, original ER leather cases for the camera and flash attachment, two sets of instructions one English, one French. The LX has an f3.5 lens, auto or manual exposure, 1/30th to 1/2000th sec in manual and 15secs to 1/2000th in auto, built in ND filter, viewfinder has automatic parallax compensation down to 8 inches. Thish ish a real cutie Moneypenny! 100

Cheers
Chris

Do you think we could sort out a forum appeal fund for Chris?

This is terrible news, having to sell your kit must hurt. My thoughts are with you Chris and I hope things improve soon.

Best regards

Chris

Yes, pretty grim! Hopefully I will be able to afford to get another E-3 towards the end of the year but sadly need cash now. I still have the E510 and 12-60 plus various other gear so its not all bad!

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts, I'm sure this is just one of life's little glitches.

Chris,

Really sorry to hear your situation.

I would find it hard to even entertain taking a fellow e-group equipment away from them, would much prefer the 'forum appeal' route.

Looks like we are talking 1500 which would only be 3 per member.

Just do without the Sunday Papers

Jim its a lovely thought, but I got myself into this mess, will suffer the consequences and get sorted. Next time you pass a Big Issue seller, buy a copy instead. Chances are he or she will be far worse off than I am.

I would much rather sell my gear to a forum member who will enjoy using it than to a faceless ebayer.
Cheers

Just cheekily bumping this thread back up the list in case you've not seen it and have bulging pockets!
