Long-winged Bush Cricket Macro

Two firsts for me:

1) Shooting a movie of any kind (film or digital). I don't even know how to stop recording (apart from switching off) and have no idea how to edit.

2) Attempting to give access here

Female feeding

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TWf...?usp=drive_web

Male stridulating* (at 1:1)

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ak8...?usp=drive_web

Olympus EM-1 (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 x2 TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f11, sunlight, hand-held.

Still frames are posted elsewhere (more to follow).

* With my hearing aid in, and it is set to restore high frequencies lost due to ageing, I could just hear a faint hiss/rustel with my ear about a food from the cricket. There is no way that a kit microphone in a camera would pick that up at shooting distance

Both rather good considering the magnification and it being a first time.

You stop the recording by pushing teh record button again.

My first attempt was with a springtail

Thanks, Alf.

On checking the camera this morning, It seems that delay of a couple of seconds before recording.stopped fooled me into pressing the button again and restarting it. Basic error, sorted.

The main reason I shot these was because the crickets so readily behaved normally when I was close to them so I went ahead, unprepared.

Yes, Anurida maritima, apparently running against the current. That would be good set to music.

My links are what Googlemail generates when attempting to send the large files. I hesitated to shoot videos previously because I though I would have to host them on one of those sharing sites.
