Photography courses online

I've always enjoyed studying in the 'Open University' style - I have a MA with the OU, and would happily persue a photography qualification with them if there was such an offer. The Open College of the Arts (OCA) seems to have a great degree course in photography, and the fundamental involvement of Michael Freeman is potentially an indication of high quality - does anyone have any experience to offer, either of the OCA course or silmilar?

Re: Photography courses online

This sounds very interesting. And it will only cost me 20 as I will be eligible for the Scottish ILA. Trouble is, I am away for the first 3 weeks of this course, so I will have to remember to register for the next one.

Well, the course is 220. Everyone working in Scotland who earns less than a certain figure gets an "allowance" of 200 pa against approved courses. Most OU courses come under this approval.

Re: Photography courses online

Strange - it's 415 if you live in England, 220 if you are based in Northern Ireland, Wales or Scotland. I can't explain why that would be the case for a predominantly online course! Still looks good though - Lightroom seems to be included in the cost.
