This Common Whitethroat was staking out its territory at Minsmere back in June. I think it was the last one I have seen this year. They haven't been nesting in the usual places near me this year, for some reason.

Came home from the supermarket to literally hundreds of these all over our power wires.

Sorry about the poor picture quality I could not get anywhere near them. Can someone ID them please.
Are they Swifts?

They are definitely not Swifts. I think they are a mixture of adult and juvenile Swallows.
