The Great Aussie Barbie

Tina said, "Bring your camera to Nardie's spit roast, dad, she's having a few friends up at her farm this 'arvo".
Not me to miss a photo op like that. So I packed the M1-2 and fisheye, knowing there'd be lot's of fun shots to be had.
But also decided to take along the 12-60mm SWD for a few conventional portrait shots perhaps. But alas, I forgot the mft adapter!
So sorry folks, you'll have to bear with me and mentally de-fish them for yourselves! All in all, I feel happy with the way the shoot turned out.

Daughters, Nadia and Athena

I wonder what's that theyr'e cookin' on the spit? …

Shh! - it's one of their delicious little siblings, but no one's about to spill the beans! …

At least for now this little darling is enjoying all the sentimental love that a human can bestow … until Christmas

Even the Border Collie puppy plays catch-as-catch-can, with them too.
But in a year or two he'll be, NO MORE MR NICE GUY !

It is said that those with similar intelligence recognise each other and tend to flock together.

"Where there's Smoke there's fire" - A trailer load of firewood will keep the guests cosy all night and over this long weekend.

And there's nothing like a little accelerant to get the camp fire blazing ...

Great bit of documentary. I take it the goats were there to clear up after you?

A great evening was had by all, including the gamboling lambs.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised at how suited it was to the occasion.

The delicacy of the lamb was unbelievable, not since I was a kid have I tasted such tender sweet meat. All that was missing was the mint sauce - so had to make do with a fine red claret to wash it all down!

Goats? What goats? I will have you know, dear boy that what you've mistaken for goats are prime baby lambs!
