Weekend Landscapes

I was lucky enough to have two local trips out at the weekend; on Saturday I met up with Steve (Stoates) and we headed out to Glen Affric and Glen Cannich:

Loch Beinn a'Mheadhoin looking west along Glen Affric

Another of Loch Beinn a'Mheadhoin

The view along Loch Affric

Saturday came to a painful end as I foolishly didn't pay enough attention when moving my tripod; it tipped over and the filter holder on the front of my 12-40 took the force of the impact, ripping the front rings off the lens Camera and Lens are now en route to Olympus to see what other damage has been done and whether the lens is repairable.

Loch Craskie in Glen Cannich

A River Cannich Reflection

On Sunday I headed out with a David another local photographer (but not an Olympus user!); we had intended going to look for Mountain Hare and Crested Tits in the Cairngorm area but time restrictions meant we stayed closer to home and headed for Glen Strathfarrar:

Pollcherian Falls on the River Farrar

Falls on the Uisge Misgeach

Re: Weekend Landscapes

A beautiful set of pristine landscapes, Iain, notwithstanding the Triffids in #1!
Sorry to hear of the mishap, hopefully Olympus will sort it at not too great a cost.

Re: Weekend Landscapes

An excellent series of images Iain.

I hope your lens is repairable at a reasonable price.

Re: Weekend Landscapes

Sorry to hear about your mishap Iain, hope you're not without camera and lens for too long. At least this set of pictures is a real bonus.
