Storm clouds

Thunderstorms and heavy showers yesterday afternoon:

As the sun set, the storm clouds seemed to catch on fire:

All taken with E-5, 12-60mm with polarising filter. I exposed for the sky to try and get as much detail in the clouds as possible, and processed raw files in PSE9. I think I've noise-ninja'd the last one a bit too much.
(The black dots in the first one are due to a swarm of flies!)

Re: Storm clouds

Great shots, that first is a lovely capture of the cloud.

I think the second is probably the best shot but I enjoyed them all.

Isn't it wonderful the amount of energy nature expends just to keep us entertained.

Re: Storm clouds

The clouds in that first one are fantastic. Well grabbed

I've seen similar clouds over the last few days but work prevents me from grabbing them so I'm pleased someone is capturing natures work.

Re: Storm clouds

Another vote for that first picture. Arresting and astonishing. Big print on the wall material IMHO..
