A dull wet day

We have had family staying with us from foreign lands and one of those days free for a trip to London was dreich - however the trip gave enjoyment but the pix haven't matched the enjoyment given.

Cutty Sark is a British clipper ship. Built on the River Clyde, Glasgow, Scotland in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line, she was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest, coming at the end of a long period of design development, which halted as sailing ships gave way to steam propulsion. Nelson's ship in a bottle

The Grapes is a Grade II listed public house situated directly on the north bank of the Thames in London's Limehouse area, with a veranda overlooking the water. To its landward side, the pub is found at number 76 in Narrow Street, flanked by former warehouses now converted to residential and other uses.[1]
The Grapes is owned in partnership by the actor Sir Ian McKellen, the theatre and film director Sean Mathias, and Evgeny Lebedev, publisher of the Evening Standard newspaper. wiki.

Re: A dull wet day

Very nice. On dull days I like to experiment with exposure and processing.

Nelson's ship in a bottle does it for me. What an impressive memorial.
