The 3rd party batteries do show the green bar type of charge indicator in camera, just not not the actual percentage figure that OEM batteries do.

Also, you can charge OEM batteries in third party chargers (and they still work perfectly well) so you only have to carry the one charger (the 3rd party one).

My 2 Expro work fine and the dual charger charges original Oly batteries without problems. They also appear to give a reasonably accurate charge capacity with the EM1 mkll.
I have not tried the charger in car.
