Ancient weaponry

As an addendum to my previous thread on Papua New Guinea and as requested by Ulffric I am posting these photos of some of the ancient weapons I collected whilst travelling in the remote regions.

Black Palm bow and arrows:

Detail of the bow wood grain, extremely hard and strong:

Fish hunting arrow detail:

Pig hunting arrow detail, designed to wound and eventually the wild pig is overcome through blood loss:

Bird of Paradise hunting arrow detail:

Re: Ancient weaponry

I think that even if I was a pig/bird of paradise or fish I would have to appreciate the stunning beauty of what had dealt my death.

These look incredible and are beautifully carved, truly something to hang on the wall and look at.

Re: Ancient weaponry

They seem so crude next to modern day methods, yet so well made. An interesting take on the subject!
