Lexar fans shpould be OK.

Lexar has been bought and the buyers expect to increase the business.

You could avoid 'that' risky site & read about it here. https://www.dpreview.com/news/592319...-maker-longsys

Re: Lexar fans shpould be OK.

I haven't purchased any Lexar products since they screwed me out of a rebate 12 years ago.

Still, not as long as the 25 years since I vowed never to purchase another Hewlett-Packard product.

I won't touch HP either now. Sad, because HP was a very highly respected company in the 70s and 80s.

Let's hope Lexar survives - although most of my cards are Sandisk!

My HP Envy 4504 is the most reliable printer so far. No dried up jets and no paper jams.

Re: Lexar fans shpould be OK.

My sister has an HP Envy of some sort and it seems to work very well, but their web site refuses to allow us to log in and complete the setup. But it does what she wants it to do. I had a LaserJet 5L a few years ago which was incapable of feeding paper reliably, it would feed a few sheets at a time or none at all which didn't help when I was trying to print double-sided manuals. Eventually, exasperated, I threw it out and bought a Brother which was 100% reliable.

Harold
I am still using my HP 4500 colour laserjet which is nearly twenty years old and has printed well over 500,000 pages; just a fraction of its intended service life.

There are many smaller, faster colour printers now, but I can buy consumables for the LJ 4500 for pennies (mostly overstock from schools, universities and so forth), and I have more than enough to keep me going until the next life.
