Re: Something fishy (9mm)

Interesting post Pete, thanks. I had been intrigued by the "body cap" lens idea. I have an OM 16mm fisheye but I've never tried it on an MFT camera, perhaps I should.

I live in a terraced house but one built in the 18th century. The three-foot thick stone walls allow very little sound to penetrate next door even at full chat. I tested that with the neighbours .

I have just bought a 99 Chinese fisheye, arrived today. Seems OK so far.

An Artisan 7.5mm F2.8. http://www.photobyrichard.com/review...e-lens-review/

But I have found out that Lightroom will defish...

Goto to lens correction, pick the Samyang 7.5 lens (same focal length), and choose a value of 71 for the distortion. Corrects it pretty good.

Photoshop does the same with its Adaptive Wide Angle Filter. Not being a Photoshop expert, I prefer the Lightroom work thru...

OV3 defish remains greyed out so assume that only works with Oly lens's...
