Cambridge University Botanical Gardens

Mrs Walti and I cycled over to Cambridge for an afternoon in the sun at the botanical gardens.

Took the 80mm macro and the EM-1ii - no flash or alternate lenses (mistake!)

Took a lot of photos so here's a selection (possible too many! )

Re: Cambridge University Botanical Gardens

Very nice Walti. Reminds me of when I was there two years ago and also took too many photos (1, 2, & 3). We haven't been this year so didn't miss you again. I especially like the "green" one (#9) and the one of the vase (#27).

That looks like a very productive day in the sunshine. A nice selection of shots and a very fat toad.

Re: Cambridge University Botanical Gardens

We're great fans of the Cambridge Botanical Garden and consider it far better than the more famous Oxford one.

The jade vine is one of our favourites.

This is one place I always intended to go but never did. A wonderful set full of colour and detail, I even like the manhole cover! Just shows the versatility of one lens.

Must admit I've not been to the Oxford one, my daughter is studying there, so I need to rectify that!
