Terrific shots of some great birds. The first and second for me. Successful BIF shots are still a mystery to me but you have obviously worked out how to do it.

A lovely swallow shot, really lovely colour and of course everything else is spot on.

For me, sand martins are an annual favourite which I will go to the nest site to shoot locally soon. But after these I will need to find a few swallow nests to try those. I'm sure it will be a huge challenge.

Andy, I notice these were taken with the Panasonic 100-400mm. Was there any particular why you chose to use this rather than your Oly 300mm, or is it just for the versatility of the zoom?
