Looks like someones sheet got blown off the line.


Heard the birds singing yesterday and now see the first crocus out.

We had the most glorious birdsong about 5:00 yesterday, we stood in the garden just listening. By 7:00 we would have been blown over.

My parents have crocus out in Cheshire.

We've had snow on and off for the past 36 hours despite the forecast for today being a mix of sun and cloud.

A bit breezy (gale force-ish) but a nice day otherwise and the wind is dropping.

No crocuses yet but our little Iris reticulate are in bloom, the Dutch Iris are beginning to show the first signs of buds forming, Tete a Tete daffs opening and first early rhubarb is showing

If we get no late frosts the Camellia should have its biggest ever show of blooms, so it looks as if Spring is coming, regardless of the Weather (have you noticed it does that every year, come freeze, flood or winter drought - I like Nature )
