Is anyone still looking for a used 40-150 Pro?

I have a spare one and I'm thinking of selling it; it's a year old and was purchased from HDEW so the warranty is almost up (just a couple of weeks). In very good condition apart from some marks on the hood (just cosmetic).

Comes with original box and case.

Re: Is anyone still looking for a used 40-150 Pro?

There is no dust in my 40-150 and what I thought was a scuff on the lens hood wiped off with a damp cloth, so the lensis actually in mint condition

I think 800 is a reasonable price.

Re: Is anyone still looking for a used 40-150 Pro?

Does indeed sound like a good price. If I didn't already have the wonderful FT 50-200 ...

I expect the 40-150 Pro has quicker and more accurate AF (as most M43 lenses have) and exemplary IQ, but can't really justify it while losing the 150-200 range and compatibility with my EC-14 &, EC-20

Re: Is anyone still looking for a used 40-150 Pro?

Hi Ian,

I am tempted although I really want a Pan Leica 50-200mm f2.8-4 but they are 2x the price of your Olympus.

Not sure about the 'anti-shake' performance as I would use the 40-150 on a Panasonic GX8 so relying on the in-body stabilization which is probably not as good as the Olympus version.

Have you any experience of the 40-150 on a stabilized panasonic body ?

Regards

I use my 40-150 Pro on my Panasonic G9, and it's great, just as good as on my EM1 (1)

Good to know Stewart,

I’m guessing the G9 O.I.S is probably better than the GX8 ?

Actually, does the G9 have in-body stabilization or does it rely on the lens ?

Edit: Ok, it does. G9 Dual-axis in body stabilization

With Olympus lenses, the stabilised effect in the G9 is seen in the viewfinder, which is not the case with the GX8.
