Re: Guess what this is?

Because of the clue I still think it is a coin - is it a close up of one of these...?

Re: Guess what this is?

Hi there Everyone!

I'm going to give that to RogerRamjet. It isn't the 1p, but it is from the same issue of coins (all the different denominations placed together correctly make a larger image.) It is in fact the 20p

Apologies for the small image but the My Pics link won't work for me at all today.

Over to you RogerRamjet!

Cheers,

Ralph.

Re: Guess what this is?

I looked at all the silver coins in my pocket when that image was first posted and ruled them out...I had one of the traditional 20p's though and not that design so ruled it out!

Looking forward to the next image!

I got a load of coins out and looked at them too including the shield design ones. That 20p looked very battered and worn down which fooled me for a modern coin.

Is 'oof' the noise you make when you bump into one?

Re: Guess what this is?

oof indeed - that is precisely what this is.

There is good bokeh, bad bokeh, and then there is "Evil Bokeh" - which is what we have here - sinister skulls appearing in the trees as a result of using a mirror lens/catadioptric.
