Is this vast majority all seeing “the kings new clothes”? Or is there something else wrong with them.

Please, I beg you, not to repeat the same old lyrics from the Brexit song sheet, as I (along with many others) are in need of a new “enlightenment”.

Thank you.
I don't think the Brexit voters see anything specifically different than people in other member countries. They were asked and they gave their answer simple as that. They wanted those in power to listen.

Exactly the same as happened in the USA with the election of Trump.

It would be very interesting to see how the electorate of other EU countries would vote if asked the same question.

Most governments are afraid to ask. The EU do everything they can to avoid any treaty changes that would force member countries to go to their electorate.

I don't know why the Tories on this forum are so exercised about the prospect of Corbyn getting into power. It's never going to happen - Murdoch, Rothmere and the Barclay brothers won't allow it!

Not necessarily anything to do with Brexit, but I see that both Toshiba and Hitachi are giving up on Nuclear power plants in the U.K.

I know that the Government is full of good ideas, but have they considered that the Ukraine has a slightly used one that I'm sure they would be only too pleased for us to take of their hands at a knock down price!

Of course, why wouldn't they ? If the EU loses a member country it means less, or poorer quality slop, in the EU Trough they all stick their porcine snouts in.

I suspect the EU mandarins would be rather less phased at the prospect of Spain, Greece or Italy leaving the flock.

Well, perhaps you can explain why Comrade Corbyn is refusing to accept Theresa May's invitation to join cross-party discussions on Brexit, and moreover has ordered Labour Party members not to discuss the subject.

What sort of constructive behaviour is that?

This only serves to illustrate that Labour doesn't have a clue about negotiations or business generally.

According to some analysts I've listened to they think CC would welcome a hard, no deal Brexit since it would strengthen his position for a general election. It seems this ultra left wing manifestation of the Labour Party would stop at nothing to get into government. But once in they will quadruple at least the national debt reversing all the hard work of the last 8 years.

I don’t think CC himself actually wants to get into #10, he’d be beyond useless anyway so perhaps it’s a good thing.

Well, having watched Diane Abbott's performance on QT last night I fear that Brexit should be the least of our worries.

She does a good shaggy dog story whenever she is asked a question.

I love it the way she starts talking, then thinks what she's going to say. Priceless!!

She's listening to herself. Therein lies the problem.

I've told you before - don't worry about it!

The right wing media tycoons that mould public opinion (including yours) won't let him win an election- so forget about the prospect.

Jim

P.S. I loved the bit about "all the hard work of the last 8 years"!
