Brand new Olympus OM-D E-M10

Brand new Olympus OM-D E-M10 with a brand new 45mm F1.8 lens
Camera was bought today from Wex Photography, not for me.
Comes with 8Gb SD card, Manfrotto tripod and 2 spare battery's (not olympus) (all brand new).
Only reason i won't take it back to Wex is i'll get credit and because i can't find a good enough camera in my budget for street photography i am giving up.

Right the camera has just been exchanged with another one and i still can't get on with it.

You will get the receipt

EDIT: Just the camera for sale now. (with SD card and Tripod if wanted, extra for postage needed)

Is this the camera you're having focusing problems with? See http://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=35267

Working on the basis that there may be a fault with the camera and that you can provide the receipt, I'll make you an offer by pm.

You have a pm.

Re: Brand new Olympus OM-D E-M10

It's user induced in my opinion, easily resolved, stick with it.
You need to take some control back from the camera -reading the manual and more importantly online will help greatly. Google (great verb!) focus points.
For street, a 17 1.8 is a good lens, you can set it to manual focus by pulling the ring back (that doesn't sound good!) and setting aperture and distance to provide a hyper-focal setting, say 3' to 20, then snap away.

Perhaps best put the sale on hold, at least for the time being!
