Re: Olympus UK is looking for a great photo...

I will stick my head out and suggest that later this year focus will be returning to Four Thirds and there will be some photo contests to satisfy you

That comment sounds like it could be loaded (with intended meaning).

Forget all the Rumor sites, that's the clearest hint yet of an E-5 successor/body fully compatible with focusing Four Thirds lenses.

Well, I don't want to rain on your parade, John, but I don't have any firm privileged information, but various signs do point towards the long promised 'solution' this autumn.

Re: Olympus UK is looking for a great photo...

Hmm, I wonder if I can find a nice pic from the 45mm/E-M5?
Will have a look tonight.

I wonder if I can use one that also used the Kenko extension tubes with the 45mm?

I know, Ian, just pulling your leg!

Exciting times, though.

My personal opinion would be yes, because the tubes are just a mechanical extention with no optical elements of their own.

Re: Olympus UK is looking for a great photo...

Although I have numerous pictures taken on my E-M5 and before that an E-PL1, the vast majority were with a Panasonic 14-45mm.

But I don't think I have anything that good, anyway.

Come on everyone - I know it is short notice and there isn't much time but Olympus are really hoping for a good selection for this cause; have been asked to remind everyone of this opportunity

Re: Olympus UK is looking for a great photo...

I sent in one, but as it is mZuiko and m4/3 specific that rules out my 4/3 lenses and the Panasonic 14-45..

So I didn't have a lot of choice and it wasn't my best shot.
