Unfortunately not. The thing with Olympus Glass is that while its very, very good, it also costs. I think its also true to say that you get what you pay for with olympus.

If you are looking for more reach, and the 250+ is too much for the EC14, you could always sell the 40-150 and buy the 70-300 and save a little money (but you lose the nice compact size if the kit glass.

I know Chilli, this has been my problem I do like my 40-150 as its the 3.5-4.5 one and very useful, I do think I'll have to buy the 70-300, hopefully they might start turning up secondhand soon

They are a fantastic bit of glass and excellent value, so people tend not to get rid of them that often.

Have you been in touch with Ian (Kerso) to get a price on the EC-14 / EC-20 / 70-300mm?

Drop him a pm

Chris

Keep looking on Ebay also. I just picked up a mint EC14 for £150 fixed price.

not sure why you would want to go s/h - they have been below 200 in the last 6 months (the 70-300)
