Focus Point Size

Changing the focus point size. This is driving me nuts as I used to do it on my E-M5 all the time, but can't for the life of me remember how to do it now..... either that or the E-M10 II functions differently? Anyone??

Thanks, but I believe that changes the focus point position, not the size of it....

Re: Focus Point Size

On my em10 mk1 it's press the left direct function button to get the focus point on the screen then as timboo says, press info and use up/down direct function button to select size of focus area.

Re: Focus Point Size

None of the above.

On the E-M10 MKII you need to assign the "HOME" position for the single focus box to a function button.

Here's what I do.

Go to "Cogs" menu A (AF/MF).
Scroll down to the second page, first item is [....] Set Home.
Press OK.
This brings up a box with
All points.
Single point normal size ( [.] )
Single point small size ( [.]s )
Nine points.
Set both single point normal and single point small to the same position.
Go back to single point normal and press OK to make this the home position.
Go to "Cogs" menu B (Button/Dial) and assign a function button (I use Fn2 as it's next to the shutter button) to Home position ( [....] HP ).
Now when you press the assigned function button it will toggle between Normal and Small focus box size.

Sounds complicated but once set it works.

Regards.

Re: Focus Point Size

Thanks to all, especially Peter..... I did wonder what the [.]s was when in the menus.... of course, it instantly makes sense once someone explains it!
