Re: OK, who's hidden all my Olympus BLM-1's????

Are the inhabitants of this parallel universe, one legged?
Cos that would explain a lot about my socks.

Ahh - but how do you know it's dark inside? You can't see inside until you open it and when you do you see light inside. Therefore there could be light in there all along.

The other point to consider is that in a multiverse where every possibilty exists the chargers are precisely where you think they are in one universe. So the solution is simple. Just swap over to that universe.

Sorted

Re: OK, who's hidden all my Olympus BLM-1's????

It's quite funny getting back home after a busy day at work, to find this thread has taken off!

I still haven't been able to find any of the batteries, having checked in all the usual places!

My main problem has been I've had ten different vehicles since the beginning of the year, and as I virtually live in my van, doing up to 2500 miles a week, its really getting annoying now!

The latest van I picked up yesterday almost suffocated me yesterday, so that has since been junked and I have a hire vehicle again!

I just looked in our suitcase and there was a cat in there. When I looked again it had vanished, so maybe I shouldn't have looked at all.

It wasn't Schroedinger's cat again was it?

That particular cat doesn't know if it is dead or alive or even if it's got BLM-1's in it's paws

Pepper - you've had a lot of useful advice. Has it helped you find them?

So when I read this again next week, because I couldn't remember where I'd read it before, it won't be there, as you haven't posted it by then...

I've got an extra BLM-1 that I don't remember having, so if I put it away somewhere safe, it may well turn up back at your place.

Re: OK, who's hidden all my Olympus BLM-1's????

It is often said that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and I'll prove that...

I was reading just the other day that gravity as espoused by Newton is actually governed by electro-magnetic properties, so that whilst I believe I'm sitting on my chair, I'm actually floating above it by a fraction, thanks to those properties (and the chair above the floor, and so on). Now coming to the case in point, I put it to you that your lost batteries were fully charged, and that they therefore interacted with these electro-magnetic fields, and floated off (possibly into another dimension/black hole, not sure about this), but when discharged, they will return. You will then have to charge them again... Thus also proving the law of sod.

Re: OK, who's hidden all my Olympus BLM-1's????

D***
Somebody beat me to Schroedinger's cat.
But what about his dog? It would be a dog in at least one parallel universe. Really.

I used to try throwing another of a missing object into the most likely room where I had lost something in the hope it would find its friend. Remarkably it also disappeared.

Absolutely no use whatsoever! Apart from making me smile whilst not looking for them of course!
