What a colourful day(image heavy)

We were invited to an ex-work friends daughters wedding. They are Gurarati Jains.

What a colourful day, so here are a few of my shots of Anjali and Sauraj's wedding.

The groom is revealed.

A great day and a great veggie curry after.

With the E-M1 and either the 12-60 or 50-200 at either ISO800 or 1600.

Very colourfull and some great images Andy, though I'm pretty sure those suits should be white and not yellow.

Yes your right. I looked again this morning when I started my main edit and realised my W/B was way off. Must have been my tired old eyes last night.
Still only 350 I took of the day to edit

Re: What a colourful day(image heavy)

Andy, what a wonderful experience to be invited to such a fab wedding ceremony

Great images too and I am one for resize and upload OOC and missing the WB etc.,

Weddings are wonderful - Except the speed at which you have to grab the moments, people forget its not a "Portrait" session with time ...

and you end up with so many images to work on You have my empathy but I am sure they shall be an excellent portfolio - especially now your eyes are "fresh"

Have fun in p/p this week ...

Re: What a colourful day(image heavy)

If you do the editing in Lightroom you can correct the WB once then apply it to all the shots. You may still need to do some fine tuning for individual shots, and will have time to make, drink and wash up a cup of tea while it does it, but it gets the donkey work out of the way.

It may be possible in other editors as well.

Re: What a colourful day(image heavy)

PS Andy I forgot to say "Thank you for Sharing" ... we supplied "lights" for a similar wedding back in the summer (from our Stocks of Christmas ones, mainly small white LEDs by the thousands ...) as their reception and ceremony was in their garden and all their shrubs & trees illuminated

Re: What a colourful day(image heavy)

Great shots of a lovely couple. The colours are stunning and the WB is something that can easily be sorted, even if it does take a little time!
