Take a Zoom to the Zoo (Part 1.)


A highlight of our recent Sydney getaway was a visit to Taronga Park Zoo.
We bought tickets at Circular Quay (by the opera house) and crossed the Harbour by ferry in about 12 minutes.


Then took the chair lift to the top where one walks leisurely down observing the wildlife before returning to Circular Quay.

I know just how he feels.

Can't remember exactly, but a species of Argentinean Red Tegu Lizard, I think.

Too easy - a tortoise of coursoise!

Last but not least, the Sugar Bear who through Ancestry.com, Andrew (Beagletorque) was able to establish a close DNA link to this primeal creature.

Actually I've been there too but would have to dig into my old archives for an image. Didn't get many as it was a work trip so didn't have much free time. I though Sydney was a great City and would love to go back one day.
