Crikey, that fire is a bit near to the wood pile............A couple of sparks and his house will be very warm/hot............

Depends on a host of factors such as the size of premises he has to heat and external temperatures and insulation and preferred indoor temperatures and other heat sources. Our friend in Maine has a far bigger woodshed stacked almost to the rafters every year, but she does have a huge wooden house with 6 bedrooms and sometimes snow drifting up to the eaves ...

Great shot. I agree with Mark he is tempting fate with the fire being so near the wood pile and the paper and cardboard on the floor around it.

Believe it or not he was trying to boil up some grape juice, it is in the red bucket.

The chimney was a bit 10-1 too, so all that happened was the house filled with smoke and his mother was not very happy, she is 95!
