Where Eagles Dare

Steve (Stoates) and I had a trip to the west on Sunday and during a stop in Glen Shiel I managed to capture this distant shot as the peak repeatedly appeared and disappeared into the swirling mist/cloud:

Awesome shot, Iain, I remember picturesque Glen Sheil well.

Re: Where Eagles Dare

I looked at this on my phone yesterday and didn't notice the bird, so missed the whole point of the shot. On my computer screen today I can appreciate what a marvellously evocative image it is Iain.

Re: Where Eagles Dare

A lovely shot, I commented on the Flickr version, which helped me find Steve's version too. I'd love to have your landscape and wildlife, maybe not every day, but it is wonderful.
