Hi from a Leicestershire Nikon convert!

Hello all

Recently switched from 2 suitcases full of Nikon full frame gear to a backpack full of Olympus and my body is loving me for it! Still working my way through the menus but think Iím about 70% there which is fine for now. Love the mirrorless technology, for me itís like the switch from film to digital, the advances are incredible!!

Off to Dorset now to recreate a load of photographic cliches!!

Cheers

Rob

Re: Hi from a Leicestershire Nikon convert!

Hi

Got the EM-1 mk2 with grip and 7-14, 14-40, 40-150, 12-100, 300 and 8 f/eye and the whole lot with my filters, meter, cleaning kit, batteries etc fit snugly in the Peak Design backpack, amazing! Still kept my D810 tho, mainly for my beloved pce lenses.

Another refugee, although I see you're hanging on to your old Passport before making a clean break! You've certainly gone the whole hog and, next time you look at your Nikon gear, you'll wonder why you lugged all that stuff around

Re: Hi from a Leicestershire Nikon convert!

Welcome! That's a great kit you've got there.

Native Tilt-shift lenses are one of the few persistently-lacking options for m4/3.

I had an adapted Canon TSE II 24mm when I had Sony A7-series cameras a while ago and I loved it: you can do a lot in software these days, but there's no substitute for getting the image drawn properly on the sensor to begin with.
