Re: 35-100 Arrived

Lucky you Dave

I ordered one last week and just got an email from them yesterday telling me they were sold out.... I wonder what ones they are going to sell at full price... strange.

Anyway enjoy... it still eludes me

Re: 35-100 Arrived

My 35-100 arrived yesterday (5/5/10).....its bigger and heavier than I though it would be.

I think that it will be a big learning curve on how to get the best from the lens. That said, just the test shots of the cats and in my garden demonstrated how much detail it can capture....even when comparing it to the 12-60mm (@35-60mm).

Re: 35-100 Arrived

I was, but after thinking about it I thought that I would get more use from the 35-100 and also a 7-14.

I would love the 150mm F2 and its still on my wish list, along with the 90-250, but I have to pay my credit card off first......You never know, My wife may help me purchase it for a combined Christmas, Anniversary & Birthday present (all within 7 days of each other).
