Couple of black and whites

Took these the other day. I'm trying to look at b&w on more of my images. I think it brings out more subtle tones.

This is a boat under construction in someones yard. It's been in this state for a number of years.

Given the size of the fairleads that boat looks like a rather over ambitious structure that's stalled. Makes an effective shape for a shot though. I rather like rusty metal so I'm a bit sorry its mono.

The second, well it doesn't work for me, I don't think the light was contributing enough co-operation.

Thanks for the comments nick. The boat is aluminum, so no rust, it looked almost like the black and white image. The material that looks like rust is just dirt, one of the reasons I went B&W
