Lancaster

A few grab-shots from Lancaster city centre. Got there late and had about a half-hour before the day finally disappeared...

Re: Lancaster

Bits of Lancaster I've never seen, although to be fair I haven't been there very often. I find it a rather claustrophobic city and the traffic is diabolical but these shots suggest I should take a closer look, it's less than an hour away. No.2 wins for me .

Re: Lancaster

Reminds me of the Edgar Broughton song "Evening Over Rooftops." You made good use of your limited time.

Re: Lancaster

Nicely done Paul. Shame about the modern Job Centre sign although with the lone figure it does add an additional storyline.

Re: Lancaster

Nice set. Looks like it is worth a visit. I agree with Phill that the job centre sign is a bit of an eyesore.

Re: Lancaster

Lovey photos Paul, number 4 is my favourite.

I was up there for a days work a couple of years ago and sadly didn't get to see those lovely parts of the town. I did manage a pie, mash and gravy at Diggles though. Very good food.
