Some Oldies

A couple of oldies I am reprocessing for Flickr from when I last shot film in 2006 when I used to visit civil war reenactments thought I would share them.

Re: Some Oldies

Very well composed and excellent timing. The smoke of battle adds to the atmosphere and authenticity.

Re: Some Oldies

Very well captured, and the colours in the first scene really suit it.

Re: Some Oldies

A good pair. I really like the first, it gives a very strong impression of the cavalry thundering towards the viewer.

Re: Some Oldies

Super images Paul - the first one for me is superb. It seems to have a sort of 3D feel to it. I wonder if that's anything to do with it emanating from film? I sometimes feel the same looking at images from Fovean sensors.
