Looks a lot like something that we already have with a few presets added...

Re: Arsenal....there's interesting....

Interesting it wont support Olympus. As Graham said maybe that's because Olympus already provide it
I'm amazed they've managed to raise millions for this that is a standard provision on Oly cameras. Not that I've ever tried it though

Re: Arsenal....there's interesting....

Surely that' what 'iA mode' mode is supposed to do? Personally, I prefer my own judgement to that of the people who design these systems

Re: Arsenal....there's interesting....

Years ago I got a "Trigger Trap" to RC my cameras before Olympus brought out iOshare and Capture. It worked very well but only set focus and shutter.

Re: Arsenal....there's interesting....

I saw this linked elsewhere in Spring 2017. I contacted the kickstarter and asked about Olympus support.
I got a personal response from Ryan:
Quote:
Sorry, It won't be supported at launch, but we'll be adding more cameras (through a software update) in early 2018. Best wait to then to purchase.

According to their website they've raised >$11 million and it's going to ship in September.

As others have said many of the features are available in Olympus bodies already - focus stacking etc. but the idea of a better and more regularly updated and intuitive UI is quite interesting.

It would also be interesting how much could be reverse engineered using the existing Olympus WiFi controls and a smart app author.

Re: Arsenal....there's interesting....

Good grief.
The focus stacking etc is fine if your system doesnt support it, but personally Ill be holding off adding AI until my dementia has progressed further.

(Im joking, but I do wonder why some people bother taking photographs)
