Peak Design different split ring shape.

I received four new V4 anchors to replace the old V3 ones.
The packet contained two 'sausage' shaped split rings, a type I've never seen before.

Re: Peak Design different split ring shape.

Must be V4 1/2, I was given the triangular slit rings which don't work at all well linking the quick release to a camera lug! (So I substituted round ones instead.)

PS: Amazon seem to stock these as fishing tackle supplies!

Re: Peak Design different split ring shape.

I bought a pack of small circular ones years ago, and have found them useful for all sorts of things, including for example making a do-it-yourself safety leash for camera sling straps.
Finally got round to checking my PD Anchors - nice and thick, so they must pre-date the thin V3s.
