They may look charming, but like siskins they're grumpy blighters and on a feeder spend more time quarrelling than eating!

I'm grumpy, we've not had a Redpoll this winter and only a couple of Pine Siskins for a few days. When the Pine Siskins were around they were chasing the Purple Finches away from the feeders. A Purple Finch is twice the size of a Pine Siskin.
