Re: Editing Challenge No. 3
Thanks for the honesty ........ took a good half hr to get it to that stage, I will keep researching fog techniques back to the drawing board. Nay mind.

Re: Editing Challenge No. 3
Usually, fog is denser when you look up. So you might find it more effective to invert your 'fog'.

Re: Editing Challenge No. 3
Agree I did try that but the filter affected all the upper part of the image too much. I will double check maybe have to add multiple filters.

![]() Surreal Castle........................... Only just looked at other interpretations, and see many similar renditions.......... Original photo was nicely taken, and composed. A good tweak would have make a really nice picture. Many of us have tried to look for something to make it outstanding, and come to roughly the same conclusion............. ![]() |

Re: Editing Challenge No. 3
Ha ha you lit up the circular windows I tried that with the fog image but couldnt make it work. Well done. I had to resort to the regular windows.

Re: Editing Challenge No. 3
I struggled as well lots of failed attempts. Getting a light to shine from a dark/black window is quite a challenge. It still doesn't look right to me but its the best I could achieve given my skill level. Looked at quite a few tutorials but couldn't find one that does this. Lots of examples of doing it from an already lit window but not from an unlit one.

Re: Editing Challenge No. 3
Warmed it up a little
p.s. how do you add an image large than 600x600? The gallery down sized my picture to this size. |

Then in your post click on add image and paste this BB data code in the window that opens up. Thats it. The only constraint on the gallery is that the file type must be either a jpg or png and it should be smaller than 500Kb. You can also use BB data code from another hosting site like say Flickr to achieve the same. Have a look in the FAQ tab and search picture size for more info. |
