Yes perhaps, but I think we want to as inclusive as possible. Not sure if a week is any better, we are not all on here all of the time

Hi,

Wow ... fame at last!

Thank you for taking the time to vote for my singer at our local steam railway event and for some encouraging posts earlier today.

The real stars of the shot were the singer and the little Olympus 45mm f1.8 which is great for this sort of shot. My input was to try to shoot through a gap in the surrounding crowd and exclude as many distractions as possible.

You've fired my enthusiasm so I had better start thinking of something for this months 'Weird and Wacky' challenge.

Thank you those who voted and griffjb, iso, mj224, blu-by-u and OM USer for your your encouraging comments.

The star is really the little Olympus 45mm f1.8 that wide open can make almost any portrait a 'cracker'.

Its definitely should be your 'first purchase' or 'must have lens' after whatever standard lens or zoom you use.
