Re: Bigma

I think I should clarify. I already have a Bigma and have taken a number of images that were acceptable having used it with the EM10 and the EM1 Mark 1. It is a heavy lens and you have to have good light to get any sort of quality images. I was just wondering whether anyone had tried it with EM1 Mark2.

Re: Bigma

Hi again, vjohnnyj the siggy 150-500 in Canon fit is light on both weight and price possibly cheaper than the bigma. The metabones is OLY to Canon. Get a deal where you can get a refund if it's a soft copy.
Kind regards mike

A. Either, a. One more than you already have, or, b. One fewer than will result in divorce.
I think if I announced that I'd bought a lens costing 1,648.45, second hand, and that it was going to need an adapter that doesn't seem to be available used or new (the Metabones website only mentions Micro Four Thirds adapters, now), I'd be contravening answer b!
Sorry David I was advising the original author of the thread. Advising him of two other alternatives to his dilemma.
Kind regards mike.

I tried my Bigma on my E-M1 II when I first got the new camera.

If my memory serves me correctly, the lens operated much as it did on my
E-510, it may have focussed marginally faster.

I didn't experiment with the Bigma for long as I already had the 300mm Pro, this lens leaves the Bigma standing and with the MC-14 has almost the same reach.
