Around the Library

I took my Pen out today and used it in anger for the first time. I got these results, around our local library:

Bicycle rack.

The Round Roof

The Seat Outside

I wonder what anybody out there thinks of them? I'm quite pleased with the camera; quiet, unobtrusive, and very easy for a quick shot. I have three more, for another thread, too.

Thanks for comments, guys.

Re: Around the Library

You took the Pen out, but why in anger, Keith?

I see in the bicycle rack what appears to be three that are heavier than those most popular here.
I think they are what we call track bikes, most likely belonging to book worms, whereas the racers and hybrids are out on the road!

Interesting library anyway.

It's just an expression Mark. I could have said "for real". Used it for serious shots, rather than just a bit of mucking about, in other words.

A lot of people who use the library come either on foot or by bike. Some come to use the computers, some to read (newspapers and books) but a lot of older people do take books out and really read them - as opposed to Kindles! It's quite a nice library, intriguing styling. It used to be in a 15th century chapel, further down the town; that wasn't really big enough for a town this size. The chapel is now an exhibition centre.
